It was designed to receive AIS signals in that surrounding sea area that is around 40 nautical miles in diameter. With built-in NMEA 0183, RS-232, and USB interfaces, the GPS embedded CYPHO-101G can be easily connected to AIS-ready maritime equipments and computers; it will provide the vessel owner or crew with better situational awareness for safer voyages.
