AMEC WideLink R150GE is an AIS receiver designed especifically for shore monitoring applications but it can also be used like a normal AIS Receiver for small commercial vessels, fishing vessels, yachts, and sailboats.

Overview

AMEC WideLink R150GE is an AIS receiver designed primarily for shore-based monitoring applications, yet it can also function as a standard AIS receiver for small commercial vessels, fishing boats, yachts, and sailboats. Based on the proven performance of the CYPHO-150, the R150GE offers extensive functionality,
including an integrated GPS receiver and a wide range of connection interfaces.


Equipped with dual parallel AIS receivers, the R150GE delivers exceptional receiving sensitivity to maximize the reception range of all AIS messages. It is ideal for deployment as a shore or remote receiving station, capable of forwarding AIS data to a dedicated server or designated IP address via TCP/IP or UDP/IP
protocols.


The R150GE can also operate as a standard AIS receiver by connecting to a PC or chart plotter through USB, serial (RS-232), or NMEA 0183 interfaces. When connected to a GPS antenna, the receiver outputs AIS data along with the own-vessel’s position, speed, and course.


The unit features standard Ethernet, USB, RS-232, and NMEA 0183 interfaces for versatile connectivity
