We are proud to announce that AMEC’s new AIS MOB Beacon TB-520 is now officially CE certified.
 
TB-520 is the first AIS MOB beacon worldwide which is approved by latest R&TTE standards. It greatly enhances the chance of MOB retrieval by alerting nearby vessels equipped with AIS. The new beacon accommodates AMEC’s latest technology for optimized GPS and VHF sensitivity and up to 48 hours operation time. In emergency situations, TB-520 can be activated either automatically by water sensor or manually and send out alert messages, GPS position information and a unique ID.
