The new CAMINO-108W is featuring powerful Wi-Fi performance to enable very stable wireless connection. When serving as Access Point, CAMINO-108W is able to connect to 10 mobile devices simultaneously. It´s also possible to access AIS data without having to give up your existing internet connection by linking to a Wi-Fi router as Client. The user-friendly software interface provides easy-to-understand setup menus for AIS as well as Wi-Fi related functions.
 
Wireless accessibility is becoming more and more popular for users who want to view the navigation information on their pads, smart phones or laptops. The NMEA 0183/NMEA 2000 to Wi-Fi multiplexing function of Camino-108W makes it possible to display instrument data directly on mobile devices. Camino-108W is compatible with commercial software or APP which work with standard AIS messages. It operates seamlessly with AMEC´s own developed AMEC AIS App for both iOS and Android as well as AMEC AIS Viewer for Windows.
