Navionics announced on 4th July that AMEC Camino-108W and Widelink B600W transponders are tested to be compatible with their latest version app “Boating Marine & Lakes” for Android and iOS devices.

With the AIS feature integrated, the Navionics charting app enables boaters to see Aids-to-Navigation (ATON) and Class A & B targets on the map. The enhanced situational awareness is essential for safety on the water, especially during low visibility or in heavy traffic areas.

Navionics said they are happy to have done plenty of tests using the transponder AMEC provided, and it works brilliantly. Y.Y.
